The mean Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score was lower in the non-survivor group (11.1 ± 2.3) compared to the survivor group (13.3 ± 1.6), but the difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.061), although it demonstrated a moderate effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.53) [ 8 ].
