In contrast, early between-group comparisons did not reach statistical significance for all secondary clinical and ultrasonographic parameters, which can be explained by the limited discriminative resolution of ordinal scoring systems, based on a small number of categorical grades, and by the short time interval between evaluations, particularly between T1 and T2.
