In our study, the time-dependent Cox analysis showed that KT was associated with a non-significant reduction in mortality risk among patients without CVD (HR = 0.47, 95% CI: 0.18–1.22, p = 0.121), which is consistent with this reported benefit, although the finding did not reach statistical significance, likely due to the limited sample size.
