Interventions lasting 1–6 months ( k = 9) were associated with a reduced HSI risk (RR = 0.43, 95% CI 0.28–0.66; p = 0.0001), whereas the 7- to 10-month subgroup ( k = 6) did not reach statistical significance (RR = 0.77, 95% CI 0.54–1.09; p = 0.14).
