In describing the neuropsychological profiles of executive functions (EF), the findings indicate that, at a descriptive level, prisoners convicted of non-violent crimes tended to show lower scores than those convicted of violent crimes in tasks involving cognitive flexibility, although these differences did not reach statistical significance.
