In cervical samples, JCPyV‐positive women showed a trend toward higher HIV‐1 viral loads (mean 3.44 ± 0.79 copies/mL) compared with JCPyV‐negative ones (2.76 ± 0.57 copies/mL), although this difference was not statistically significant ( p = 0.112).
