A nominally significant non‐linear association was observed only for the aMED score, with a greater rate of risk reduction beginning around a score of 3.5 ( p non‐linearity = 0.04; Figure S1 in supporting information); each one‐unit increase in the aMED and MIND scores was associated with a 5% and 3% lower risk of dementia in linear trend analyses, respectively.
