We observed a clear trend of higher abundances (Figure 3g ) at the shelf stations (P1, P4) than at the slope (P6) and in the Nansen Basin (P7), and in total, we recorded 9 higher‐level taxa on the southern shelf, 12 on the northern shelf, 12 on the slope, and 8 in the basin.
