The results showed that uPAR levels were significantly higher in SIC patients compared to sepsis patients (contrast value = 15,380, t = 2.812, p = 0.007) and healthy controls (contrast value = 19,509, t = 2.697, p = 0.009), whereas the difference between sepsis patients and healthy controls was substantially smaller in magnitude (contrast value = 4,130) and did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.570).
