Using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) 23 – 25 entire data set of cervical adenocarcinomas with available transcriptome and outcome data (n = 26), we modeled this four-gene score as a continuous predictor of outcome using a univariate Cox proportional hazards model, which showed a trend towards higher four-gene expression being associated with worse outcome (hazard ratio 2.17, 95% confidence interval 0.57–8.31, p-value = 0.258).
