Serum sodium (SMD = −0.48; 95% CI: −1.48 to 0.52; I 2 = 94.06%), serum creatinine (SMD = −0.36; 95% CI: −0.79 to 0.06; I 2 = 90.24%), serum albumin (SMD = 0.23; 95% CI: −0.09 to 0.55; I 2 = 87.17%), and serum calcium (SMD = 0.07; 95% CI: −0.28 to 0.43; I 2 = 88.68%) also did not reach statistical significance, and all were characterized by high heterogeneity, limiting the robustness of conclusions.
