Although the test for subgroup differences did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.07), our subgroup meta-analysis found a higher prevalence of KC in patients undergoing corneal topography [0.09, CI: (0.03, 0.16), p < 0.001, I 2 : 98.24%] [ 10 , 12 , 14 , 17 ] compared to those diagnosed with keratometry only [0.03, CI: (0.02, 0.03)] [ 18 ].
