According to the findings of Kownacki [ 19 ], the proportions of Polish Koniks build, which were measured in the years 1914 to 1979 (by various authors and in different regions of Poland), underwent quite significant changes, while their growth, strongly determined genetically, in the analyzed period of time was slightly increased only at the end of the 1980s.
