Follow-up analyses showed that the rate of operative vaginal delivery in the intervention group (14.6%) was significantly lower than in the control group (31.3%; χ2(1) = 2.899; p = 0.044), whereas the difference between the intervention group (14.6%) and the routine care group (25.7%) did not reach statistical significance (χ2(1) = 1.463; p = 0.113).
