Serum thyroglobulin (Tg) levels tended to be higher in malignant lesions (46.0 ng/mL [IQR 12.0–140.0]) than in benign lesions (31.8 ng/mL [8.4–88.4]), although the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.076).
