Among Black men, there was an inverse association per standard deviation (4.94) increase of depressive scores in fully adjusted models (aHR = 0.84, 95% CI= 0.74 to 0.96), but no significant associations were noted when depression was analyzed categorically, although a significant trend was noted ( P trend = .026).
