After adjusting for age, sex, smoking, alcohol consumption, duration of diabetes, SBP, BMI, FPG, 2hPG, HbA1c, Heart rate, WBC, MPV, ALT, AST, ALP, γ-GGT, BUN, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, log(ACR), eGFR, only the highest quartiles(T4) remained significantly associated with DPN(OR =2.093, P < 0.05), whereas the associations for T2 and T3 were directionally positive but did not reach statistical significance.
