Consistent with this design, exposure of HSIOs to NPPP-1 elicited a notable reduction of viability in a dose-dependent manner ( Figure B) similar to our observations using murine intestinal organoids, where NPPP-1 treatment showed a trend toward reduced viability (∼55%) at the highest concentration tested.
