In the CHARLS cohort, higher MPA remained significantly associated with lower stroke risk after full adjustment (Model 4: HR 0.79, 95% CI 0.62–1.00, P = .047), while LPA and VPA did not reach statistical significance after full covariate adjustment (Table 3 ).
