On the other hand, MLC size seems to be a parameter of interest in understanding its association with T2 lesion burden in MS patients, as averaged MLC size exhibited a weak positive correlation (r = 0.196, 95% CI: −0.001–0.379, p = 0.051, n = 99; Supplementary S1 Fig ), suggesting a trend toward a relationship between larger MLC size and increased T2 lesion count that did not reach statistical significance.
