We therefore rescued any associations involving cancer genes with pan-cancer alteration frequency of 10% or higher (these comprise TP53 , CDKN2A , TERT , KRAS and PIK3CA ) and which were also altered in 10% or more in a given cancer type but did not reach statistical significance in our analysis.
