In subgroup analyses, pesco-flexitarians (OR = 1.92, 95% CI: 1.28–2.89, p = 0.002) and vegan-flexitarians (OR = 1.52, 95% CI: 1.10–2.09, p = 0.011) had significantly higher NPM odds compared with omnivores, whereas ovo-lacto-flexitarians did not reach statistical significance (OR = 1.23, 95% CI: 0.95–1.61, p = 0.121).
