In the NVFG group, graft hypertrophy was observed in 6 (24%) of the 25 patients (6/25); however, mild hypertrophy (< 25%) was observed in one patient, moderate hypertrophy (25–50%) in 3 patients, and significant hypertrophy in 2 cases (more > 100%); this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.225), suggesting similar biological remodeling between the two groups and that graft remodeling was not dramatically enhanced by vascularization in these samples.
