The crude-effect meta-analysis indicated that ITN/LLIN users had lower pooled odds that did not reach statistical significance (OR 0.67, 95% CI: 0.42–1.07), whereas the adjusted-effect meta-analysis yielded an aOR of 0.88 (95% CI: 0.42–1.86), indicating attenuation of the pooled estimate after adjustment for confounding.
