High CEP55 expression also predicted poor survival in patients of White ethnicity [HR = 1.70, 95% CI: 1.22–2.36, P = 0.002] and was particularly pronounced in elderly patients (age > 65) [HR = 2.28, 95% CI: 1.50–3.48, P < 0.001], but did not reach statistical significance in younger patients (age ≤ 65; P > 0.05).
