The absolute risk difference for mechanical ventilation was 0.8% (95% CI: − 0.7% to 2.2%), and the risk difference for severe hypoxia was 1.5% (95% CI: − 0.6% to 3.6%), though these differences did not reach statistical significance due to low event rates (Table 3 ).
