3.4 Meta-analysis results 3.4.1 Effects on blood pressure outcomes In comparisons between MAD and inactive controls, pooled analyses revealed overall trends toward reduction across all evaluated blood pressure parameters—including 24-h, daytime, and nighttime systolic and diastolic blood pressures—although these reductions did not reach statistical significance (all p > 0.05; Supplementary Figures S1–S6 ).
