While there was a numerically higher rate of complex hospitalization in patients with P-SCAD as the index event as compared to those that did not have a complex hospitalization, this did not reach statistical significance (P-SCAD as index event in complex hospitalization vs. non-complex hospitalization: 6.7% vs. 3.7%, adjusted OR 2.24, p = 0.121, 95% CI 0.81–6.20).
