Similarly, the presence of comorbidities was associated with higher odds of hypoxic pneumonia in unadjusted analysis (OR, 2.05; 95% CI, 1.36–3.09; P = .001), but this association was weakened after adjustment and did not reach statistical significance (aOR, 1.59; 95% CI, 0.97–2.62; P = .065).
