In the primary analysis, the genotype–mortality comparison did not reach statistical significance (OR 0.46, 95% CI 0.21–1.02, p = 0.056), and the result remained non-significant in the sensitivity analysis (OR 0.76, 95% CI 0.39–1.47, p = 0.42) ( Figure 3D ).
