After adjustment ( Table 3 ), moderate blood pressure remained associated with higher major adverse cardiac event (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 1.47, 95% CI 1.02–2.13), whereas severe blood pressure did not reach statistical significance (aOR 1.32, 0.80–2.18).
