Although LPS-induced IL-1β reduction did not reach statistical significance across the full cohort ( R =0.198, P =0.220), subgroup analysis revealed that in patients with severe OSA, reductions in TNF-α ( R =0.445, P =0.026), IL-1β ( R =0.566, P =0.003), and IL-6 ( R =0.572, P =0.003) after treatment were all significantly correlated with ODI ( Table 2 ).
