In our study cohort, although patients with refracture tended to have lower BMD (T-score) compared with those without refracture, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P > 0.05, Table 2 ), and BMD was not identified as an independent risk factor for refracture in regression analyses (Table 4 ).
