Although their findings should be viewed with caution due to the use of analyses based on observed variables (e.g., the PROCESS macro), which do not control for measurement error, it is notable that, even with this limitation, their results already pointed to a negative trend for emotional skills in different models (assessing self-esteem, positive affect, and life satisfaction).
