Although a 23% relative risk reduction was observed for the composite endpoint of stroke, systemic embolism, or death from cardiovascular or unexplained causes, this did not reach statistical significance, with the upper bound of the confidence interval approaching 1 (RR 0.77, 95% CI 0.59–1.00; p = 0.50; I 2 = 0%; Figure 3 ), suggesting the need for further evidence to validate this trend.
