In sex-stratified analysis, the association was significant among males (OR = 1.28, 95% CI: 1.10–1.49, p = 0.001), whereas among females, the point estimate was similar in magnitude but did not reach statistical significance (OR = 1.31, 95% CI: 0.79–2.18, p = 0.295), likely due to smaller sample size (P for interaction = 0.939).
