Among the nine patients in our study who received intravenous thrombolysis before TAAD diagnosis, eight died, resulting in an in-hospital mortality of 88.9%, which was higher than that in patients who did not undergo intravenous thrombolysis (10/14, 71.4%), although the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.086).
