For subjective happiness, the indirect effect was also significant (ACME = −0.58, p < 0.001), whereas the direct effect did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.299), suggesting that the association between post-COVID-19 consequences and subjective happiness was largely mediated by increased anxiety.
