Among eyes with macular edema (diabetic or thrombotic), those receiving both anti-VEGF and corticosteroids received more injections (median 9, IQR 5–11) than those treated with anti-VEGF alone (median 4.5, IQR 1–10), although the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.071, Mann–Whitney U test).
