Across all the models tested, SWE consistently exhibited independent and statistically significant predictive value, whereas the elastography index did not achieve significance in any adjusted analysis.
Importantly, the persistence of a positive trend in the elastography parameters suggests that SWE and the elasticity index provide complementary diagnostic information, supporting their value as adjunct tools that increase confidence, refine risk assessment, and potentially improve discrimination in borderline cases such as BI-RADS 4 subcategories ( Table 7 ).
