In line with this large meta-analysis, diarrhea was observed slightly more frequently in the tirzepatide group, whereas constipation was marginally more common in the semaglutide group; however, these differences did not reach statistical significance. The median time to onset of gastrointestinal adverse effects was shorter in the tirzepatide group at 7 days compared with 10 days in the semaglutide group.
