A nominally significant positive association was observed within the small “other race” subgroup (OR: 2.16, 95% CI: 1.26–3.71); however, the nonsignificant interaction test ( p = 0.10) suggests that this is a spurious finding, resulting from a limited sample size rather than a true biological interaction.
