In contrast, isolated tissue Doppler-based criteria did not reach statistical significance after adjustment: e′ below threshold (adjusted OR 0.97, 95% CI 0.82–1.14; p = 0.70) and average E/e′ > 14 (adjusted OR 0.96, 95% CI 0.78–1.17; p = 0.66) were not independently associated with mortality.
