The deleterious effect of anti‐HLA‐C/DP antibodies on access to transplantation persisted in non‐immunised patients ( p = 0.01) and in hyperimmunised patients ( p < 1 × 10 −4 ) and showed a strong trend towards significance in immunised patients ( p = 0.09; Figure 4D–F ). 3.6 Multivariable Analysis of Access to Transplantation Although univariable analyses showed that the presence of anti‐HLA‐C and/or anti‐HLA‐DP antibodies was associated with reduced access to kidney transplantation, this association could be influenced by multiple confounding factors.
