On BIOC-GS consisting of noisy clinical notes, we observe a clear trend across method categories: prompt-based methods outperform neural methods, which in turn surpass dictionary-based ones, consistent with prior findings ( Groza et al . 2024a , Qi et al . 2024 , Shlyk et al . 2024 ).
