Analysis by age group showed that 12–13 year-olds had the highest 30-day rehospitalization rate of 11.2%; this did not reach statistical significance when compared to other age groups (0–5 years: 8.0%; 6–11 years: 7.2%; 14–17 years: 9.6–9.8%; P > 0.05).
