Participants with moderate-to-severe OSA tended to spend a greater proportion of the simulation period in a drowsy state compared with those with no or mild OSA, although the between-group difference did not reach statistical significance [median 33.2 (IQR 7.4–41.5) vs. 15.4 (2.8–42.1) minutes; p = 0.414].
