Notably, among the cell cycle-associated DEGs, cyclin D2 (Ccnd2) showed a trend of upregulation in transcriptomic screening in LPS-stimulated macrophages (Fig. 1 E), positioning Ccnd2 as a key downstream effector of PI3K–Akt signaling for subsequent mechanistic investigation.
