Backed by confirmed efficacy and safety by randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in different patient cohorts [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 ], there was already a clear trend across the world to adopt TAVR in AS patients <75 years, even in patients <65 years who are potential candidates for mechanical surgical valves, which is outside of current guideline recommendations [ 11 , 12 ].
