A clear trend was observed across E-DII quartiles, with those in the highest quartile showing significantly poorer QoL compared to those in the lowest quartile in both unadjusted (β = -0.41, 95% CI: -0.65, -0.17; p = 0.001) and adjusted analyses (β = -0.31, 95% CI: -0.55, -0.07; p < 0.001).
